Its D-day tomorrow. I think panic doesn’t half, or even quarter describes my feelings now. I’m quite convinced of the need to study hard now, starting tomorrow. As for the papers, its out of my hands now, so I can only pray and hope He favours me.

Oh well, as the sayings go, Man proposes, God disposes.

The Stand by Stephen King is a good read. Read the uncut version if possible. I know its a bit long…. 1000+ pages, but its worth it.

time to catch some dreams.

i feel as if i’m meeting my nemesis tomorrow. breathe in………… and hold it there.

Yes, this is the chio bu from zsy(eternal happiness) i was talking about. Its a nice show with a nice storyline, but the story fans out and drags a little too much. But who cares anyway: more episodes means longer eye candy! Oh well, ain’t that good to hear? Oh her name is Michelle Ye and she has a few fansites too! Just type her real name (michelle ye) on any search engine and you’ll find them! Posted by Hello

By the way, her real name is gigi lai (li zi in chinese), and she has a few fan sites! Just type in gigi lai in google or yahoo or altavista and you can find her fan sites! Posted by Hello

Been yet another long while since i last updated this page. Hmmz, flooble box sent me another email threatening to close down my chatterbox unless something new was posted, so here i am, writing an entry such that you people (i dunno if there is any of you out there who realise my blog still exists) can tag something of my chatterbox.
Alright enough of the pleading, down to the happenings of my life so far: prelims. Well all I can say is that I’ll need alot of luck to determine my results. Whatever the results, actually honestly speaking if I don’t fail I think I should be very happy about it. However, the problem lies in the fact that I WANT out of Singapore. I want to go overseas to study. Oh well, my fault for not being able to motivate myself to study. At least it serves as a warning to myself so that I’ll work triply hard for my a levels. Hoping for an AABB(ideal), though its quite slim lar i guess.
Apart from that there really isn’t anything else for me to talk about. I don’t have anyone to talk to online, i’m quite sick of not being able to win the com one-on-one in frozen throne (against a normal enemy regardless of race), and quite sick of being cooped up at home. Someone ask me out please, i’m desperate.
That being said, i just realised that all my notes are in a mess again, and I probably won’t be able to go out again tomorrow, i’ll just waste it away filing those stuff. at least i get the consolation that i won’t be spending my time like today staring at the com and thinking of something interesting to do. Sigh. at least if i had condition zero i could play against alot of bots. now i’m just playing alone…. or against something i can never win.
One good point from being cooped up at home though, is that you are able to watch almost every TV program. Like today, I had time to watch both HSDS on ch 8 and the last episode of xyl on ch u. Invariably, being the huge fan i was of HSDS, i was interested in seeing the actors and actresses playing the roles of the various characters in the story. Sad to say, the wd (wudang) brothers look like the 7 zi-go-pek to me, while zsf (zhang san feng) seems to have been smoking while meditating; his teeth is seriously yellow (maybe he’s a avid lover of tea/coffee). Ok i admit zzr(zhou zhiruo) is pretty, and yes they really got an ass-looking guy to play the role of that befuddled sqs(song qingshu), and that zm(zhao min) plays her role pretty well too, overall i’m quite disappointed by the show. tell you the truth, i haven’t seen aHSDS show that has impressed my immensely yet, but the ch 8 one was really a let-down, i mean, after all the hype and stuff. I preferred u, i mean the channel u version that was screened almost two years ago much more. more sub-plots, less talking, more action (though the effects were quite cheesy at times), and yes, the actors and actresses (with the exception of the green bat in the channel u one), they all look better than the ch 8 one. even the zm in the channel 8 one pales in comparison with the channel u one (whose pic will be shown above).
So then, i’m done with the criticism of an exaggerated show, which brings me to the next issue: the merger of mediacorp and mediaworks. While both companies have expressed the view that a merger will enable them to go regional, i have my reservations on its effect on the domestic market and on the work-crew on both sides, especially those in mediaworks. Firstly i’m not convined a monopoly of public television will spur creativity; i’m sure ch u and i have both beaten ch 8 and 5 respectively hands-down in that category. I promise you that durian king is MUCH funnier than rubbish like light years (which everyone is complaining about and yet continues to be screened), and the programs: entertainment, news, informative, reality tv and stuff, all of the listed categories channel i seems to have the edge (execpt in reality tv i guess). Yet the future of channel i (platform where the arts scene is screened in shows like singapore shakes, which i was quite impressed with) is in doubt. I hope they do not close down channel i, really, it would be such a waste. beats showing the titanic 3-4 times, the only difference each time being the trailer. I just have a feeling that tv quality, especially public tv screenings, are going to go downhill. who to blame? you go figure out yourself.
Ok back to tv serials and chio bus. As i have established myself, the zm of channel u HSDS definitely (in my opinion) is more chio than the zm in the ch 8 HSDS. However, I’m currently drawn to the lady playing mlj(meng lijun) in zsy( eternal happiness) shown on weekdays, 9-10pm on channel u. I started noticing her from the first serial she had a major role in. I tell you, she’s captivating. aybe i’m wrong, but she IS chio (as seen from the picture above, with the co-star Raymond Lam.). boy oh boy, i’m behaving like the F4-crazy girls…..
Talking about love ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. (well you can fill in the blanks, its literally blank!)
Oh well, patience is the key i guess. there’s a certain amount of luck, fate and opportunity that shapes our destiny, and our future. its getting quite late… i should go to slep soon. *yawn* good nite!
