Even though i don’t feel at all like blogging, however, I feel bound to do so. So… to all those interested in my birthday weekend, well generally i could say it had some surprises and disappointments.
Well anyway, my heartfelt thanks go out to (in no particular order):
1. Firstly, Cheryl, the first person to wish me happy birthday at 00:00 hrs exact (well ok lar she cheated and msg-ed me to take it that it was sent at that time instead coz she was scared she might have fallen asleep then alr. One exception lar k?) I know person No 2 who msg-ed me will def murder me if he reads this… lol.
2. My colleagues in CPC! Everyone who chipped in for the present and took some precious time to write on my card: Thank you so so so so very much! Quite touched to have received such gifts actually.
3. Ben and Shane, well more so Shane, coz he took one day off just to go……. *drumroll please* LAN with me! *AMAZING* Anyway Ben’s present to me this year is 4+ hours worth of lan at egames katong! Lol…..
4. Thanks to Mabel and Sinyee and everyone present at Marche, who surprised me with that slice of chocolate cake (It’s Death by Chocolate if I’m not wrong) and well, slightly embarrassed me with the Birthday song (i din exactly comb my hair before I left home in the morning).
5. Thanks also to everyone who chipped (I sort of get this image of people throwing chocolate chips) in for my birthday present too… people like Cliff Glenda Lyndon Mabel Sinyee and so on (If your name isn’t included in teh roll of honour do remind me to add you in). The Sandman comic was great! Shit larz now I have to fork out even more to buy more comics.
6. Yuanlin must be wondering when his name would appear. TA-DAH! I just mentioned your name rite? Ok then lets move on…
Haha Ok lar joking well I think the most creative present award goes to Yuanlin! Lol… you should see the way he led me to the present… first he passed me a burnt cd of a flash clip. The clip showed him passing me a burnt cd which showed him passing me a burnt cd. -_-” Typical lameness, though totally expected. Well then ththe surprise was the designer mouse he got for me, hidden in my drawer, which was really unexpected. My heartfelt thanks to you Yuanlin. I wun collect rent from you for one month because of this k? Joking larz… feel free to stay over anytime man!
7. Samantha and Sheryl for the present and the cute little partly handmade card for me. Thank you! The card is really nice. Not sure if I can fit into the shirt though… I’m not that slim! Lol…
8. Last, but not least, my parents, who started the celebrations with dinner at Hong Ren Tang at Beach Road, my favourite restaurant, even though the food was very pricey. But I must say that its really worth it! The dishes there were simply heavenly man. Too bad I wun be able to fork out such money to bring anyone there anytime soon. Well on my birthday they also bought me my fav swensen’s ice-cream special too! And a big one at that! Well to my mum and dad, I know I alwaysys yell at you and argue, but I do love you k?
As for the disappointments, lets not talk about it k? All i can say now is that the days after my birthday always feels a little blue. Thanks to my cousin for keeping me company through my post birthday blues during the weekend. you rawk brudder! Don’t let petty people in your class get you down k? They’re not worth it.

Never mind. I’m happy most remembered my birthday. Thanks everyone, for making my 19th birthday quite a memorable one.
P.S. I’m putting up the 03S62 photo on my office desk. reminds me of the freedom I once had. Oh yes, Xu wen owes me a treat too!
