Just watched the 2nd and 3rd episode of 1 Litre of Tears (Ichi Rittoru no Namida), a Japanese drama serial based on a true story of a girl diagnosed with an incurable disease. What was scary about the disease is the fact that while you gradually lose all your motor skills, you’re mentally sound and are actually aware of what is happening.
Which brings me to the point on life yet again. Just what is life about? Do we actually have a purpose in this world when we are born into this world? Its really very saddening, yet true, that from the moment we are born, we are already taking our first step towards the eventual end to our lives. For now, what i can say is… life is mainly about memories, memories of your experiences. At least, when you die and indeed you return to the void (if there is no heaven or hell), you’ll have your memories for company through eternity…

What came falling from the sky
was not the rain…”
