Happy Lunar New Year

Filed under: Life — Nicholas @ 2:07 am

I guess I ought to set my new year according to the Chinese Calendar instead. Anyway, here’s wishing everyone I’ve yet to greet but who reads my blog (very unlikely) a very happy lunar new year! Do remember me when you strike your Toto or 4D!

In any case, it finally seems to me that I’ve crossed over to 2008, and that the holidays are over. Like the school term has officially started. After letting myself go, and allowing myself to simmer and boil and go emotional, in between bouts of faked , at times genuine, cheeriness through the 4 days of Lunar New Year, I’ve finally settled down, once and for all, and made the switch to geek mode. Woo. Better late than never.

Hey, the prospect of going to school on Vday doesn’t look that daunting anymore. After all, I’ve tonnes of research material to look through, and 4 proposals to finish by this weekend, of which 2 directly affect my CAP, and the other 2 affects my resume/portfolio.

I sound like a university undergraduate. Finally. I seem to have gotten pretty interesting project work mates too. I’m hoping they’ll prove to be like me, so I’m freed up to do more mugging, or focus on other projects.

Off to sleep. Another long day beckons.
