I guess the very fact that this blog hasn’t been updated in a long while goes to show that I’ve technically been on hiatus. More exactly, been busy studying, or at least trying hard to.
I don’t really have much to blog on these days in any case. Blogging always seemed to fulfill some exhibitionist thing in me, and the posts in blogs never held the same meaning and intimacy with me as compared to diary-writing. In addition, I’ve grown to realize in the futility in expressing myself in a forceful yet sensitive manner; whatever that’s likely to piss off people are still going to piss them off, whatever way I write them, and whatever that I’m not wiling to reveal is also not going to be revealed, or made easier to record through cryptic statements. I’d rather write it down in a diary, or just keep mum until someone asks me for my POV.
Oh well, I had also wanted this site to not just to share titbits (interesting or otherwise) of my life experiences with others, but also to improve and build on my writing skills. Then again, I’ve been so lazy to write that I’ve still not worked on ideas that I’ve been toying with since secondary school. Maybe over this summer break, but it seems that I’ll be rather busy, and in real danger of over-committing again.
To end this post on a bright note though, many people have commented that I seem to be much happier these days. I guess I can agree with them somewhat.
Haven’t been sleeping much, brain’s rather foggy now, so I’ll end the post here.
