Well, it’s true. I’ve been down with this flu bug for the third time in a month. Which in itself is very worrying. I spent the better part of this week wondering if it was the dreaded H1N1. Fortunately, I realized that the fever/cough/flu this time is due to a nasty cut or ulcer on my throat. Which explains why I find it so painful to swallow saliva or talk.
More than just this, however, it could also be a metaphor of how I’m living my life. Maybe it’s the same walls and barriers that I end up facing after all the twisting and turning, or maybe it’s just the same deja vu that I’m getting all over again. I’d really appreciate pointers, at this point of time, on how to improve myself.
Steps I’ve vowed to take myself after I recover include a more regimented and disciplined lifestyle, with more exercise, more sleep. That would be a good step forward I believe.
