I woke up to the realization, finally, that I am no longer Chairperson.

This means I am no longer obligated to move around and ensure everyone is happy involved. That’s not my job anymore. That’s a job for the new president, and the new Head of Member Relations. I can just spend time with the people I really want to talk to from now on.

Wow that took me a long while to figure out, I’m fucking dense.

If there are any hopes of me pulling my grades back towards 1st class, this is the semester where it starts happening.

The truth though, is that I spent the first 6 weeks recovering from the exertions over the summer holidays, i.e. the internship. 6 weeks which just whizzed by, and now I’ve to play catch-up big time.

To be honest, things are moving very fast, perhaps too fast. Cracks are appearing. Last week was admittedly one of the best weeks of my life thus far, with whatever I’m doing/thinking/wanting turning into reality. Then tell-tale signs started to show again. First Sunday, then Monday. It’s time to start consolidating and prioritizing.

That being said, I’m really due some good luck. I believe my reserves of good luck are humungous. So the Gods of Good Luck, please, let me tap some of those reserves. It’s not really necessary, life still goes on, but it’ll really put a smile on my face and a spring in my step. My turn at levelling is long overdue.

Otherwise, crucial semester, new friends, new close friends, new karaoke system, rediscovering the mugging touch, I guess overall it’s not too bad after all.
